This is my entry for the monthly challenge @
picspammy
"Anything you want to cast. You can cast a favorite book, short-story, comic, play, fairy tale, etc. or you can recast a favorite film or television series. If you felt a movie adaptation of a book did the casting all wrong, do it again. You can focus on however many characters you want in one spam, whether it is just one character or the entire cast."
and here it is..the toughest cast ever XD

I'm slightly becoming a Tower!junkie and...well, i'm trying to imagine the ideal cast for this amazing book, which is the fourth of the saga. It's a tough task, you people. I tell ya. The whole thing is so complex that if a director picks it up one day, he better do a good job and don't screw it up or i'll hafta choke a bitch.
Ka-Tet of the Nineteen Ninety-nine
Viggo Mortensen as Roland Deschain
***because Clint Eastwood is too old***
Roland Deschain, son of Steven Deschain, was born in the Barony of Gilead, in In-World. Roland is the last surviving gunslinger, a man whose only goal is finding and climbing to the top of the Dark Tower, purported to be the very center of existence. This quest is obsession, monomania and geas to Roland: the success of the quest is more important than the lives of his family and friends. He is a man who lacks imagination, and this is one of the stated reasons for his survival against all odds: He can't imagine anything other than surviving to find the Tower.

James Franco or Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Eddie Dean
***sorry, I CAN'T decide! ***
Eddie’s main talent is running his mouth. Eddie is possessed of a quick wit and the propensity to argue, and the more ridiculous he finds a situation, the stronger his urge to comment on it. This talent comes in handy against Blaine the Mono, when Eddie confounds the train with his nonsense jokes.

or

Naomie Harris as Susannah Dean
Susannah is Eddie's lifelong love and one of Roland's faithful companions.
Her background can be found here in the "In NY" part.

Chase Ellison as Jake Chambers
His background here

Roland's original Ka-Tet
Henry Cavill as Roland Deschain
[ This one? The hardest to choose. You need the right mix of blue eyes (because the bombardier eyes are fundamental, yep)/badassey/tormented soul and my bb Henry looks like the most suitable one for the young Roland.]
Roland becomes a gunslinger at the age of fourteen, coerced into his test of manhood by Marten, his father’s wizard. Roland defeats his teacher, Cort, with an unusual weapon: his hawk, David. David is just the first in a long line of sacrifices Roland makes in his quest for The Dark Tower. He inherits his father’s apprentice guns as a sign of his rite of passage.
Roland is the youngest ever to become a gunslinger. His father had previously been the youngest, having passed his test at the age of sixteen.
Roland meets and falls in love with Susan Delgado. This is the one woman who has ever made Roland consider a fate other than his precious Tower

True love, like any other strong and addicting drug, is boring -- once the tale of encounter and discovery is told, kisses quickly grow stale and caresses tiresome... except, of course, to those who share the kisses, who give and take the caresses while every sound and color of the world seems to deepen and brighten around them. As with any other strong drug, true first love is really only interesting to those who have become its prisoners.
Taylor Kitsch as Cuthbert Allgood
Known for his unyiElding sense of humor, Cuthbert was Roland’s best friend and most trusted ally.
The boy has the ability to remember every name, face and nuance of any situation he encounters. He is handsome; Susan Delgado thinks she may have fallen in love with Cuthbert herself, had she met him first.
Cuthbert is also very skilled in the use of the slingshot, having the ability to hit a flying bird from sixty yards away.
.
[I guess I've been him in mind since the first time I read about Cuthbert. I know, the members of the Ka-Tet are way younger than these actors but I like to imagine them like this...]
Brady Corbet or Micheal Pitt as Alain Johns.
Clever and sensitive, Alain is strong in the Touch, a form of psychic ability.
Because of his stocky build and quiet nature, Alain is often mistaken for a dullard. Nothing could be further from the truth. Quiet and introspective, Alain is known for his thoughtful consideration of problems and ability to sense when something is going wrong. He is naturally a diplomat and is often the voice of reason in volatile situations.

Christian Bale as Steven Deschain
Steven, also know as Roland the Elder, is Roland Deschain's father and ruler of the Affiliation.
Steven is called the last Lord of Light, due to the fact that he is the last ruler before the fall of Gilead. Steven is twenty-ninth on a sideline of descent from Arthur Eld, who was the King of All-World. Before Roland passed his test at fourteen, Steven had been the youngest ever to best Cort in battle age the age of sixteen.
He's characterized by his slim build and handlebar mustache. He carried the true gunslinger's weapons, six-shooters with sandalwood grips, until passing them on to his son after Roland proved himself in Hambry.
Steven was betrayed by Marten, his wizard, who cuckholded him by taking his wife, Gabrielle, as his lover. Steven had known of this affair for two years before his son took his test of manhood, but did nothing to stop it.

[Yeah, I found a spot for senor Bale too. I needed him again as a gunslinger, after "3:10 to Yuma"]
Amy Gumenick as Susan Delgado
Roland Deschain/Will Dearborn's true love.
She seemed to feel the ground move beneath her, and later she would think that for the first and only time in her life she had actually felt ka, a wind that came not from the sky but from the earth.
[...]
'If you love me, then love me'
'Aye, lady. I will'

[ I LOVED her as the young Mary Winchester in Supernatural..yeah, the choices you make for love...she know something.]
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
Helena Bonham Carter as Cordelia Delgado

Gary Oldman as Eldred Jonas
Jonas is the leader of the "Big Coffin Hunters," a gang consisting of himself, Roy Depape, and Clay Reynolds. They all have identical blue coffins tattooed on the webbing between thumb and index finger.
[Gary? Class-A baddie for me.]

The Big Coffin Hunters
Josh Brolin as Clay Reynolds

Clay Reynolds is Eldred Jonas' right-hand man and the quietest of the Big Coffin Hunters.
Kevin Durand as Roy Depape
Arguably the shortest-tempered of the Big Coffin Hunters, Roy Depape's hot-headedness is one of the major catalysts for events in Wizard and Glass
